Dangers Of Living In The Edges

Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

Acts 20:8 And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.

Acts 20:9 And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

Famine in The Church

Amos 8:11   Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
Amos 8:12   And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

Have You Received Jesus Christ Since You Believed?

(1 John 5:10-21) “He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believe not the record that God gave of his Son.

  • {11} And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
  • {12} He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
  • {13} These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

God Dealing With Set Apart People

  • When you find yourself in strange situation which you have not chosen, be still and know that God is beginning a new work in you.
  • In most of the instances God begins His work with man or woman by first setting him apart from people, pleasure, prosperity, and popularity.
  • In many situations men of God are met by God when they are totally devastated and when they have totally lost faith upon people then God appears in the picture and begins a great work.
  • Name some of the great men in the Bible and you will begin to realize and see how they met God when they were submerged in suffering, dismayed in darkness, and forsaken by friends.
  • I wish I can speak about how God met me in the middle of the way, but I will cease to speak of me and just exalt God and magnify Christ. I would still say this that when I was away in strange land, alone, confused, and guilty God met me and called me and set me apart to love Him, serve Him, and make Him known.
